Adjudicator:  Joanne Collier

Joanne Collier has taught voice and choir at Medicine Hat College Conservatory of Music and Dance since 1989.  She has also served a two-year appointment as Artistic Manager at the conservatory and has taught par-time at the University of Lethbridge.   Her work at Medicine Hat College involves teaching voice to young people and directing all levels of choral ensembles - the Medicine Hat College Girl’s, Adult and Children’s Choirs. 

 She holds a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Manitoba.  In addition to her regular schedule, she has worked in Alberta and B.C. as an adjudicator and clinician.  She has served as the vocal coach for the Alberta
